Vodafone VoLTE Expanded To Rajasthan

Vodafone India today expanded its VoLTE services in India by launching it in Rajasthan. The services will be available in Jaipur and Jodhpur. Vodafone VoLTE was first launched in February this year when the operator launched the services in Delhi, Mumbai and Gujarat.

With this launch, Vodafone became the first GSM operator in the state to enable customers to make calls using VoLTE. VoLTE allows customers to get HD quality crystal clear voice and faster call connect. The company said customers can get Vodafone VoLTE for no additional charges and all calls will be billed as per existing plan or pack benefits.

Announcing the launch of the Vodafone VoLTE service, Amit Bedi, Business Head – Rajasthan, Vodafone India, said, “We have been making significant investments to expand, upgrade and modernise our network to ensure that we provide the finest service experience and seamless connectivity to our valued customers. We are delighted that Vodafone is the first GSM operator to launch VoLTE services in Rajasthan beginning with Jaipur and Jodhpur and soon extend it to other key cities. Vodafone VoLTE is a step further towards enhancing customer experience and enabling our customers in Rajasthan to explore newer possibilities with their smart devices.”

To avail the VoLTE services, a customer should have a working 4G data plan from Vodafone and uses that service with a VoLTE ready smartphone.

The company said Vodafone VoLTE will be available on all VoLTE devices. However, at present some smartphone models of popular brands like OnePlus, Huawei, Xiaomi, Nokia and Samsung are compatible with Vodafone VoLTE and more handset models will be added to the list in coming times.

Vodafone VoLTE service were recently launched in Mumbai, Delhi-NCR ,Gujarat, Maharashtra & Goa and will be extended across the country in a phased manner over the next few months. The company had announced last year that its VoLTE services will be launched in January 2018.
