ZTE launches V5 smartphone on Snapdeal platform

zte-v5Chinese telecom gear maker ZTE today launched one more smartphone, V5, in the Indian market. This time the company has tied up with online retailer Snpadeal for the distribution of the smartphone.

The ZTE V5 is a 5 inch touch screen device and uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with a quad core CPU. The phone runs on Android Kitkat OS. It features a 13 megapixel rear camera with autofocus and flash, and a 5 megapixel front camera.

The ZTE V5 is shipped with a 2400 mAh battery which, the company claims, would give 400 hours of standby back up time and 400 minutes of talktime.

Storage capacity wise the ZTE V5 has 1GB RAM and 4GB of ROM out of which only 2GB will be available for the use of the customer. However, the storage capacity can be expanded upto 32 GB using SD cards.

“India is one of the most important market and we are happy to introduce a powerful device like V5 for the users here. Soon we plan to launch our flagship Nubia range of products which is a success globally,” said Yuan Kang, CEO Mobile Business, ZTE India.

The dual SIM ZTE V5 is priced at Rs 10,999 and for the time being it will be available only on Snpadeal’s e-commerce portal for online purchase.
