Vodafone Converts Its Mini Stores Into Design Stores

Vodafone-Branded-Retail-Store-Touches-9,800Vodafone India today said it is planning to transform its mini stores, company’s small customer service outlets, into Global Design stores, and the company has already started the process with some stores.

But, do not get confused. The Design stores have nothing to do with design of any kind. Rather, they are Vodafone’s customer service outlets.

To begin with, the mini stores at Malviya Nagar and Lodhi Road are being converted into the larger format stores where a plethora of services would be offered, Vodafone said in a statement.

The upgraded mini store retail concept is designed and equipped to be warm and customer friendly, to meet the evolving needs and expectations of the customers. This store has been specifically adapted and customized after testing and validating a full suite of customer insights, which are relevant to customer needs in India.

With the increasing use of smart phones, mobile internet and new technologies, the customer is evolving at a fast pace. Customers are more empowered and have clarity of thoughts on what they want. The company claims customers will be offered an array of services at the stores.

“Taking a formidable step towards enhancing our customer experience we are very happy to announce the launch of global format mini stores in Delhi NCR.  As we move ahead providing world class services to our 1 crore plus customer base we would also want to empower our retailers through such infrastructural up-gradations and technological support. We understand that the advent of Vodafone SuperNetTM 4G services would require the need for seamless and enhanced customer experience and this initiative will help us in providing them with overall world class experience and services that Vodafone has on offer,” said Apoorva Mehrotra, Business Head – Delhi-NCR, Vodafone India.

The company has 230 mini stores, mostly the franchisee stores, and little above 50 company owned stores to cater to the needs of its customers.
