Vivek Badrinath leaves Orange

Vivek Badrinath has left Orange to join Accor Group as deputy chief executive officer.

Effective 1 March 2014, Vivek will be replaced by Mari-Noelle Jego-Laveissiere who will run the Innovation, Marketing and Technologies division (IMT) as senior executive vice president and member of the Executive Committee, reporting to Stephane Richard.

Vivek was a member of the Executive Committee and of several internal governance bodies and a major contributor to the Innovation chain, Orange Labs, the marketing functions, Information Systems and international networks.

Since joining the France Telecom group in 1996, Mari-Noelle has filled several management and project positions in a variety of fields: distribution networks, product marketing at Wanadoo, regional director, consumer marketing for Orange France, research and development for the Group, the merger between France Telecom and Orange France SA, and International & Backbone Network Factory.

In these positions, Mari-Noelle has demonstrated the strength of her commitment through her involvement in the programme to transform the Group’s innovation chain, where she played a key role as Director of Research and Development, particularly in team support.

Stephane Richard said, “I have every confidence in Mari-Noëlle’s ability to lead the Innovation, Marketing and Technologies Division, which I wanted to establish to carry Orange’s innovations to the highest level. I have chosen a young female talent who has demonstrated the breadth of her skills and her managerial capabilities.”
