Tejas bags multiple deals from Jordan, Turkey and Egypt

Tejas Networks, a leading global provider of telecommunication equipment announced that it has been selected by multiple operators in Jordan, Turkey and Egypt for its award-winning Packet Transport (PTN) products.

Tejas has bagged order to deploy more than 500 high capacity PTN solutions in all these countries.

Noor Telecom, a premium broadband service provider in Egypt has deployed Tejas PTN solution comprising of Tejas TJ1400 and TJ1600 for building their backhaul network running over MPLS-TP technology.

“Noor Telecom has been providing premium broadband services for the last 10 years. We were looking for alternative solutions in order to scale the network for increasing subscriber base, provide better network resiliency and to be able to better manage the network. Tejas Networks provides a strong portfolio which has been an excellent fit, taking care of all of our requirements in most efficient manner. These network upgrades will help us maintain a leading position in the premium broadband services market in Egypt,” said Dr Dalloul, CEO, Noor Telecom.

Tejas has also entered into definitive agreements with many utility companies in Jordan and Turkey for upgrading their communication network with next-generation optical transport equipment.  Many utility companies today are moving to intelligent grid management and smart grids, for enabling more dynamic and reliable services.

“We see many utility companies are in the process of upgrading to packet-driven, smart SCADA-based systems and our products enable them build high-speed, high-capacity network quickly and efficiently,” said Sanjay Nayak, CEO & MD, Tejas Networks.
