Syniverse signs multi-year contract with Cellcom Israel

Syniverse has signed a multi-year data clearing contract renewal with Cellcom Israel, the largest mobile operator in Israel.

“In the fast-paced mobile ecosystem, it’s imperative to align with highly-skilled specialists who can execute, while providing the expertise and foresight necessary to keep you ahead of consumer expectations,” said Daniella Torres, head of International Roaming, Cellcom.

“Syniverse’s deep mobile knowledge has helped us swiftly navigate technology changes over the past 10-plus years,” added Torres.

Cellcom Israel has relied on Syniverse’s Data and Financial Clearing House for GSM since 2001 to ensure massive volumes of incoming roaming usage records are accurately and efficiently processed and settled in accordance with GSM Association guidelines. Syniverse also provides the operator with DataNet, its Near Real-Time Roaming Data Exchange (NRTRDE) platform that helps to combat roaming fraud.

“Syniverse has built on its track record of innovation, successfully aiding Cellcom Israel in the delivery of a seamless, ubiquitous experience to its end users,” said Morten Brogger, chief sales officer, Syniverse.

“This renewal underscores our dedication to continuing that excellence through an integrated focus on quality, global support, functionality and forward-thinking solutions,” added Brogger.
