StreamCon Asia – The Largest Event Of Digital Video Ecosystem Kicks Off On 8 March

The Indian Telecom, media and entertainment industry saw an exponential growth in the last couple of years, precisely, after the introduction of Reliance Jio’s mobile and broadband services in the country. Within just a span of three years, India became the highest data consuming nation in the world. As per a recent Nokia Mobile Broadband Index 2019 report, on an average, an Indian mobile user is consuming over 10 GB data per month. And the most interesting thing is of this 80% data comes from Video!

To celebrate the success of video ecosystem in India, that includes plethora of OTT applications, hugely successful YouTube content creators and platform enables, India is hosting South Asia’s largest digital video conclave – StreamCon Asia 2019.

The event, the first of its kind, will be kicked off on 8 March and will conclude on 9 March. The two-day event, a gathering of online video community, will witness the presence of popular video content creators and eminent personalities from brands and agencies. StreamCon Asia will be a beacon of digital video’s bright future. The convention will host more than 100 speakers, 30 exhibitors, 100 brands, 500 delegates, and 200 fans.

Eminent personalities from the media and entertainment industry, including Bollywood stars, video and audio technicians and lyricists, representatives from the government, academia, media and startups have confirmed their presence to enlighten the audience about digital video industry and what lies for them in the coming times.

There will be multiple sessions, tech-talks and fireside chats that will talk about various aspects of the digital video ecosystem. Besides, there will be technical workshops to tend a helping hand to the newcomers to this industry.
