Intex Aqua Fish Smartphone With Sailfish OS Launched


Intex  today launched its first Sailfish OS based smartphone called Aqua Fish in the Indian market. Sailfish is a proprietary operating system of Jolla and the new phone from Intex on this platform is priced at Rs 5,499.

Initially the Intex Aqua Fish will be available on and later it will be made available on Flipkart, Amazon and Snapdeal.

The Intex Aqua Fish smartphone comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display, supported by a 2GB RAM with 16GB of internal storage. The storage capacity can also be expanded up to 32GB. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and offers resolution at 720*1280 pixel.

The Intex Aqua Fish weighs 150 grams and sports an 8 megapixel rear camera and 2 megapixel front camera. The phone is supported by 2500 mAh battery, that the company claims, provides a talk-time of 6-7 hours along with a standby time of up to 20 days.
