HMD Global announced Nokia 106

HMD Global just added another phone in its feature phone portfolio in India, the Nokia 106. Nokia is slowly building its smartphone and feature phone portfolio in India again. And after the positive response to its iconic 3310 and Banana phone (8810) they just announced another basic feature phone the Nokia 106.  This is an upgrade from its very popular model 105, which was a single SIM feature phone.The main highlight of this phone is its 15 hours of talktime and 21 day standby time and its dual SIM support capability.

The Nokia 106  carries the same iconic Nokia feature phone design in a polycarbonate body. The feature phone has a 1.8 inch screen, and on the top of the handset you get a LED light, 2.0 micro USB connector for charging and a 3.5 audio jack. The Nokia 106 comes with FM radio and yes you also gets the classic Snake Xenzia game, with that this phone offers you to store your entire address book with space to hold up to 2000 contacts, and about 500 messages. The Nokia 106 is powered by a MediaTek MT6261D processor, with 4MB of RAM and 4MB of onboard storage.

The Nokia 106 supports dual SIM and has a 800 mAh battery. In the box you will get a micro USB connector with 550 Amp charging adapter. The device weighs 70 gm and measured dimension is 111.2mm of height and 49.5mm of width and only 14.4 mm of depth.

Nokia 106 comes in Dark Grey and is available in India at a recommended best buy price of INR 1,299 across top mobile retailers in the country as well as on Nokia.com/phones. You can also buy this feature phone through Flipkart and Amazon but  the prices are 100 to 150 Rs expensive in these platforms.
