Rajeev Suri, head of Nokia to visit India on 27th August

Rajeev Suri, president and chief executive officer, Nokia is visiting India on 27th August.

Rajeev has visited India many times as CEO, Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) but this visit is special as he is visiting India for the first time after being appointed head of Nokia on Ist May, 2014. His itineary for this visit includes meeting key government functionaries, key customers, India leadership team and taking stock of the overall situation in India. Nokia Chennai factory will be an important agenda for Rajeev Suri on this visit.

Suri joined Nokia in 1995 and has held a wide range of leadership positions in the company. Since October of 2009, he has served as CEO of NSN, the former joint venture between Nokia and Siemens that is now fully owned by Nokia. During his tenure as CEO, NSN business went through a radical transformation to become one of the leaders in the telecommunications infrastructure industry.

He was born in India in 1967, is a Singaporean citizen and is based in Espoo, Finland. Rajeev has a Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics and Communications) from Manipal Institute of Technology, India.
