Government approves two electronic clusters in MP

The government has given approval for two electronic manufacturing  cluster (EMC) in Madhya Pradesh (MP).

The steering committee for clusters has accorded final approval for setting up of two greenfield electronic clusters in Badwai (Bhopal) and Purva (Jabalpur). Both these clusters have got a total of Rs 38.16 crore from government of India. Badwai cluster has got Rs 20.87 crore and Puva cluster has got Rs 17.80 crore.

The government has also given an in-principle approval of Rs 187.01 crore for four clsuters in Odisha, Jharkhand, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. Odisha cluster located in Khurda (Bhubaneswar) would get Rs 96.96 crore. Jharkhand cluster located in Adityapur (Saraikela Kharsawan) would get Rs 50 crore. Andhra Pradesh cluster located in Chilamathur (Anantapur) would get Rs 16.33 crore and Karnataka cluster located in KIADB Industrial Area (Hebbal) would get Rs 23.72 crore.
