Intex Launches Digital Payments Awareness Campaign

Will teach people about digital payment and ways to use it at its Smart World stores across the countries

At a time when many people in India are trying to get acquainted with and use digital payments to deal with the after-effects of demonetisation drive, Intex Technologies has launched a noble initiative. It will run a pan-India Digital Payments Awareness campaign to businesses and consumers on how they can start with cashless transactions using online and mobile methods. This initiative to educate consumers was kick-started today from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.

The pan-India education drive is aimed at giving financial literacy to consumers to make them comfortable with the new & evolving digital or cashless transactions. For this, at all Intex Smart World stores in the city, there will be trained professionals who will via live in-store demonstrations give small sessions on what is digital payment, how to use new payment modes for daily purposes and will assist people in getting started.

While explaining the thought behind this campaign, Vishal Malik, Head- Retail, Intex Technologies, said, “We are trying to help the consumer in getting digital ready and solve the problem of lull market in the high street right now, caused by demonetization. This is a time for all businesses to come together and find innovative ways to bring about the cashless revolution. Intex Smart World has immense presence in UP state and so thought of beginning this initiative from the most populous state and will be driving it throughout the country.”
