Xiaomi Launches Redmi 7A 16GB For Rs 5999

Xiaomi Thursday launched Redmi 7A, a new budget category smartphone of its A series, in the Indian market. The phone comes in two variants – 2GB RAM and 16 GB storage and 2GB RAM and 32 GB storage space.

The 2GB/16GB variant is priced at Rs 5999 and the 32 GB variant will be sold at Rs 6199. However, the rates will be Rs 200 lower as an introductory offer in the month of July.

Redmi 7A brings an overall upgrade over Redmi 6A. It comes with 5.45 inch screen size with HD full screen display. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 chipset, 4000mAh battery, 12MP Sony IMX486 camera sensor and a matte finish unibody design.

The company says the phone boasts a 12MP Sony IMX486 sensor making it the only phone in its segment to sport the sensor. On the front, it features a 5MP front camera with AI Portrait mode for great portrait selfies.

Redmi 7A will be available starting 12 PM on 11th July via Mi.com, Flipkart and Mi Home stores. It will also go on sale across offline stores soon.
