HMD Global, the current owner of the iconic Nokia phones, Tuesday launched its latest smartphone, the Nokia 8 in the Indian market. The phone is priced at Rs 36,999 and will be available from 14 October at Amazon India retail platform.
Nokia 8 comes with 5.3 inch screen size with 2K IPS LCD QHD display offering 2560×1440 pixel resolution. The phone also offers 554 ppi (pixel per inch), one of the best in this category. The smartphone is made with a single unit of aluminium block and the display is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 – the latest.
The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 mobile platform and is coupled with 4GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage space which can further be expanded up to 256 GB. The phone uses Android Nougat operating system.
The Nokia 8 comes with dual 13 MP primary camera – one takes the color photographs while the other takes the same in monochrome mode. The front camera is also an 13 MP snapper with PDAF and comes with front flash.
The unique feature of the Nokia 8 in terms of its camera technology is, the phone can use its front and rear camera simultaneously to record two different videos at the same time. Say, one for Facebook Live while the other can stream live video for YouTube.

The dual SIM LTE device supports all global LTE bands and also supports carrier aggregation. The Nokia 8 supports upto 450 Mbps download speed and 50 Mbps upload speed.

The Nokia 8 comes with 3090 mAh battery and supports Fast Charging.
