InFocus Turbo 5 With 5000 mAh Battery Launched

After a silence of almost 2 years, US based smartphone maker InFocus launched a new smartphone in India with almost nothing new in the phone. The phone, named Turbo 5, highlights its battery power – of 5000 mAh – and priced it at Rs 7,999 for the 3GB RAM variant. The InFocus Turbo 5 also launched another variant with lower RAM, of 2GB, and priced it at Rs 6,999.

The InFocus Turbo 5 is a 5.2 inch device with full HD display and is powered by low-end MediaTek quadcore processor with clock speed of 1.3 GHz.

In terms of RAM and storage capacity, the Turbo 5 comes with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage and one more variant with 3GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage space. However, the phone storage is expandable up to 32 GB.

In terms of camera, the device sports a 5 megapixel front camera with f2.2 aperture and an 13 megapixel rear camera supported with LED flash. The dual SIM smartphone is a LTE ready device and features a rear mounted finger print sensor.

The main feature of the Turbo 5, as per the company, is a mammoth 5000 mAh, non-removable battery. The company claims the phone can be charged fully in 2 hours.

The phone comes in two colours – Gold and Mocha Gold – and will be available on Amazon India retail platform.

Besides, the Turbo 5 comes with all the standard features like WiFi, Bluetooth and all required sensors.

The InFocus Turbo 5 is run on Android Nougat, the latest OS from Google.
