Asus ZenFone 3 Max Launched

Taiwanese smartphone maker Asus Wednesday extended its ZenFone 3 series to launch its latest smartphone ZenFone 3 Max. The model comes in two variants, one with 5.5 inch size and the other with 5.2 inch.

The ZenFone 3 Max 5.5 is code named ZC553KL and comes with FHD display with 1920×1080 pixel resolution and has used a 2.5D contoured glass. The smartphone is powered by 64 bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor. It has 3GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage space. The storage space can further expanded upto 128 GB.

This model sports a 16 megapixel rear camera supported by five-prism lense, aperture of f/2.0 with functionalities like autofocus and PDAF. The rear camera has a dual tone LED flash. The front camera is of 8 megapixel, f/2.2 aperture and comes with functionalities like beautification mode, HDR and low-light photo capture.

The ZenFone 3 Max 5.5 inch one is a dual SIM LTE device and offers other connectivity options like Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, and has a front fingerprint sensor.

The other model, the ZenFone 3 Max 5.2 is smaller in size and is code named ZC520TL. This one is powered by Qualcomm quadcore processor with 3GB RAM and 32 GB internal space. This device sports a 13 megapixel rear camera with five-prism Largan lens and is supported by dual tone LED flash. The front camera is of 5 megapixel.

Connectivity features are same as the bigger one. Both the models run on Android Marshmallow OS and carry 4100 mAh battery. The specialty of these two smartphone is the devices can be used charge other phones using it as a power bank.

While the ZenFone 3 Max 5.5 is priced at Rs 17,999, the 5.2 inch version is priced at Rs 12,999.
