Motorola today unveiled its latest smartphone Moto G in India. Aiming to give a tough fight to its competitors, the US based company has kept the price of the Moto G very compeititive. The Moto G comes in two variants – the 8GB and 16GB model- and are priced at Rs 12,499 and Rs 13,999 respectively.
Specifications wise Motorola’s Moto G is not at all behind its compeititors. Its a 4.5 inch HD display smarphone with respolutions of 1280×720 with a 329 ppi (pixels per inch). It has a 5 megapixel rear camera and a 1.3 megapixel front camera. It weighs at just 143 gram with a 2070 mAh battery which claimes to offer power back up for a full day. The dual SIM Moto G uses android 4.3 Jelly bean OS which is expected to be upgraded to the next version 4.4 KitKat in a few days.
The motorola G comes with 1 GB RAM and uses a Qualcomm snapdragon 400 processor with a 1.2 GHz chip.
All other standard features like micro USB, Bluetooth, wi-Fi, audio and video playback etc are also present.
It also offers location services based on two technologies – GPS and Glonass.
However, the Motorola G is not available on physical retail stores, rather the company has tied up with ecommerce portal Flipkart to reach out to its buyers. Its an exclusive partnership with Flipkart where the customers can buy the Moto G online only. As per Flipkart, all the standard service offerings like 30-day return etc will also be applicable for this product as well.
