Motorola Moto X4 Launched For Rs 19,999


Motorola on Monday launched its next phone – the Moto X4 – in India. The Moto X4 comes in two variants – 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage priced at Rs 20,999 and 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage for Rs 22,999. The smartphone will be available exclusively on Flipkart for purchase from midnight tonight at 11.59 PM. The Moto X4 comes in Super Black and Sterling Blue colour options. The device will also be available at Moto Hub stores across the country, reports The Mobile Indian.

The sale of Moto X4 on Flipkart comes with multiple offers which include an additional Rs 2,500 discount on exchange of your old smartphone, up to Rs 3,000 extra over regular exchange value on select Motorola smartphones, up to 10 percent off with HDFC Bank credit and debit cards, guaranteed Buyback of 50 percent of the smartphone’s value, get up to 340GB data on Airtel and EMI srating from Rs 1,019 per month.

To recall, the Moto X4 was launched at IFA 2017 in Berlin. The phone features a 5.2-inch full HD LTPS IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The device is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor along with Adreno 508GPU. The phone comes with two storage and RAM variants: one sports 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, while the other features a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Both of the variants are expandable up to 2TB via micro SD card slot.

The major highlight of the smartphone is the dual-camera setup, which comes with a combination of a 12-megapixel sensor with 1.4-micron pixel size, f/2.0 aperture, and dual pixel autofocus along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle with a 120-degree field of view, aperture f/2.2 and 1.12-micron pixels. The camera also features phase-detection, dual-tone LED flash and has some interesting modes like bokeh effect, selective black and white, background change and 4K video recording. For the front, the Moto X4 sports a 16-megapixel shooter with f/2.0 lens and front LED flash along with a 4-megapixel adaptive low-light mode.

The Moto X4 runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat and is juiced up by a 3000mAh battery with turbo charging. On the connectivity front, it supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, NFC and USB Type-C port.

HMD Global Makes Global Launch Of Nokia 2 In India


HMD Global, the current owner of Nokia phones, has launched the company’s latest smartphone, the Nokia 2, in India. This launch was a global launch and the phone would be available from mid November.

The 5 inch Nokia 2 comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 mobile platform and runs on Android Nougat OS. Very soon, the phone will be upgraded to Oreo, a company official said.

The Nokia 2 comes with 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal storage capacity and is fitted with 4100 mAh battery. The company claims the phone would survive for 2 days with a single full recharge.

In terms of camera, the Nokia 2 comes with 8 megapixel rear camera fitted with LED flash and auto focus. The front camera is a 5 megapixel fixed focus one and is without a front flash.

“People rely on their phones so much these days with many people subconsciously rationing their battery life when out and about so they can last the day. We don’t think you should have to do less with your phone which is why we created a smartphone that can power through when other devices need a pit stop,” said Juho Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer of HMD Global.

“With the Nokia 2, we wanted to replicate the unique Android experience we’ve delivered so far with the long-lasting battery which so many fans associate and expect from their Nokia phones. The All-screen iPhone X Debuts In India For Rs 102,000


The iPhone X, Apple’s latest and best phone yet has finally arrived in India. The pre-order started today and if you happen to be an unlucky one to have missed it, you can pre-book again on 3 November.

Comio C2 With Anti-theft Features Launched For Rs 7,199

Comio, a Chinese smartphone brand and a new entrant to Indian mobile phone industry has launched a new smartphone in the country. Named Comio C2, the fourth smartphone model from the brand in a short span of time, is priced at Rs 7199.

The Comio C2 is a 5 inch device and comes in two colors – Royal Blue and Royal Black. The phone is powered by MediaTek 64 bit quad core processor and is coupled with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage capacity. This capacity can further be expanded up to 128 GB using micro SD cards.

On camera front, the Comio C2 sports an 8 megapixel rear snapper equipped with flash. The front camera is also of 8 megapixel and features a selfie flash. The dual SIM smartphone carries a 4000 mAh battery and runs on Android Nougat OS.

Nokia 8 With Simultaneous Dual Video Function Launched


HMD Global, the current owner of the iconic Nokia phones, Tuesday launched its latest smartphone, the Nokia 8 in the Indian market. The phone is priced at Rs 36,999 and will be available from 14 October at Amazon India retail platform.

Nokia 8 comes with 5.3 inch screen size with 2K IPS LCD QHD display offering 2560×1440 pixel resolution. The phone also offers 554 ppi (pixel per inch), one of the best in this category. The smartphone is made with a single unit of aluminium block and the display is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 – the latest.

The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 mobile platform and is coupled with 4GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage space which can further be expanded up to 256 GB. The phone uses Android Nougat operating system.

The Nokia 8 comes with dual 13 MP primary camera – one takes the color photographs while the other takes the same in monochrome mode. The front camera is also an 13 MP snapper with PDAF and comes with front flash.

The unique feature of the Nokia 8 in terms of its camera technology is, the phone can use its front and rear camera simultaneously to record two different videos at the same time. Say, one for Facebook Live while the other can stream live video for YouTube.

Asus ZenFone 4 With Selfie Dual Camera Launched

Taiwanese firm Asus today launched its next series of smartphones under its ZenFone lebel. With the Asus ZenFone 4 series the company launched 3 new smartphones in India and the highlight of the launch is it brought two smartphones with selfie dual camera module.

The Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro, company’s flagship smartphone, comes with 5.5 inch screen and is priced at Rs 23,999.

The phone Selfie Pro sports AMOLED display with 1920×1080 pixel resolution and is covered with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass. The phone is powered by 2.0 GHZ Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa core processor coupled with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage. Asus also launched a little stripped down version of the ZenFone Selfie Pro called Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie with dual camera feature. This smartphone is priced at Rs 14,999.

The ZenFone 4 Selfie model comes with 5.5 inch screen with 1280×720 IPS display with 400 nits brightness. It runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa core processor and comes with 4GB RAM and 64 GB storage.

From the camera point of view, its fron dual camera consists of one 20 megapixel camera and second 8 megapixel camera. The rear camera is of 16 megapixel with real tone dual flash.

The third in the series is the Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie that comes without dual camera. This is the most affordable among the lot and is priced at Rs 9,999. This phone carries a 13 megapixel rear as well as front camera.

The phones will be available on Flipkart and both Flipkart as well as Asus will come out with multiple schemes to attract the customers during the Big Billion Day.

Reliance Jio Phone Pre-booking Time Changes


The pre-booking of Reliance Jio Phone, the 4G feature phone that the entire country is waiting to lay their hands on at the first chance, will start from tomorrow – 24 August. This can be done at Jio’s website as well as Reliance Digital stores. The Reliance Digital stores also double up as Jio retailer outlets. The Jio Phone pre-booking was supposed to start from 5 PM tomorrow.

But the company has now decided to delay it by another half an hour. So the Jio Phone pre-booking will now start from 5.30 PM at both these platforms -Jio website as well its retail outs.

How To Pre-book the Jio Phone

When the Jio Phone was announced Mukesh Ambani had said the phone will be available for free but the customers have to make a security deposit of Rs 1500 to avoid the misuse of the 4G feature phone. So it was believed that the interested buyers would have to pay the amount upfront during the time of Jio Phone pre-booking. However, to make it bit easier for the buyers, Jio has reduced the Jio Phone pre-booking amount to Rs 500. The rest Rs 1000 will have to be paid when the phone is delivered. The Jio Phone will be delivered to the buyers on a first cum first service starting September.

You can visit the company’s site and make the payment of Rs 500 through any of the online payments including credit card, debit card, net banking as well ass through Jio Money – company’s own mobile wallet.

Alternatively, buyers can visit any Reliance Digital store and make the payments of Rs 500 by cash or electronic format for the pre-booking of Jio Phone.

Micromax Canvas Infinity With Almost Bezel-less Display Launched For Rs 9,999


Micromax today added one more smartphone, Canvas infinity, to its highly successful Canvas series. But that is not the highlight. The highlight is, the Micromax Canvas Infinity, the company’s first phone with almost bezel less display, comes at one fifth of similar phones available in the market. Cases in point are Samsung S8 and LG G6.

The Micromax Canvas Ifinity that was launched today comes in 5.7 inch screen size with 18:9 wide display that gives you an impression as if the entire screen is for display – from top to bottom and from left to right. The full HD display offers 1440×720 pixel resolution.

The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor and comes with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage which can further be expanded up to 128 GB using microSD cards.

In terms of camera, the Micromax Canvass Infinity sports a 16 megapixel front camera and 13 megapixel rear camera. Both camera units are supported by flash.

Gionee today launched a new smartphone in Indian market. The phone, Gionee X1, comes with 8 megapixel front and rear camera and priced at Rs 8,999.

The smartphone is powered by MediaTek 1.3 GHz MT6737 quad core processor and comes with 2GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage capacity. The storage space, however, can be expanded upto 256 GB using SDcards.

Intex Launches 4G Feature Phone At Jio Phone Price

Charged up by the launch of Reliance’s 4G feature phone, Jio Phone, domestic handset maker Intex today launched its own version of a 4G feature phone. Named as Intex Turbo+ 4G, the 4G feature phone is priced at Rs 1500 and was showcased in Indore in Madhya Pradesh today.

This phone is a part of Intex’ newly announced feature phone series – Navratna, that included eight 2G phone models as well. These phones are priced in the range of Rs 700 to Rs 1500.

It can be recalled that Reliance Jio had launched its 4G feature phone named Jio Phone last month which will be provided free of cost to the customers for a refundable security deposit of Rs 1500.

The 4G feature Phone from Intex – Turbo+ 4G comes with a 2.4-inch QVGA display, VoLTE capability and is powered with a 2000 mAh battery. The 4G device runs on KaiOS software having a dual core processor with a 512MB RAM & 4GB ROM.

From the camera perspective, the Intex 4G feature phone has a 2MP rear camera and VGA Selfie Camera, along with an expandable memory of up to 32GB.

The eight 2G-feature phone models offer varied features. The ECO series models come with a 1.8-inch QQVGA display. ECO 102+ has a currency check feature that helps users to verify the authenticity of their currency. Along with this, it has an 800mAh battery, wireless FM and camera. The Turbo series models come with a 2.4-inch display. Turbo Shine supports all 22 Indian languages, powered with a big 1400mAh battery, has wireless FM and expandable memory up to 32GB. Turbo Selfie 18 is the camera phone having a dual camera with flash, powered with a big 1800mAh battery and has a big Phonebook storage of 2000 contacts.
