Motorola Moto G5 Plus With Premium Specs Launched For Rs 14,999

Motorola today launched its latest smartphone of its ‘G’ series of phones- the Moto G5 Plus. This phone was showcased in the recently concluded Mobile World Congress and today it was launched for the Indian market for Rs 14,999.

The moto G5 Plus comes in two variants – depending on its RAM and storage capacity. The 3GB/16GB version is priced at Rs 14,999 whereas the 4GB/32GB version of the Moto G5 Plus is priced a thousand rupees more.

The phone looks all premium. Specs wise, the smartphone comes in 5.2 inch screen size with IPS LCD full HD display offering 424 ppi. The display panel is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with 2 GHz octa core processor and 650 MHz Adreno GPU. The phone comes in two variants – 3GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage and 4 GB RAM with 32 GB storage. The phone is priced accordingly.

On camera front, Motorola claims the shipped camera is the best and most advanced camera in its class and category. The primary camera is a 12 megapixel snapper with dual autofocus pixel, that, the company claims, gives 60x faster autofocus capability compared to the Moto G4 Plus. The front selfie camera is a 5 megapixel one.

The Moto G5 Plus is dual SIM LTE smartphone with the option to insert a 4G SIM in eitther of the card slots. Connectivity wise, the phone comes with other options including WiFi, Bluetooth as well as NFC. The NFC is of no use ass of now but whenever India merchants start using Android Pay or any other NFC enabled payment mechanisms, this feature will come as handy.

The Motorola Moto G5 Plus will be available on Flipkart from 12 tonight and both the parnters are providing some schemes to entice the customers. These include cash back offer from SBI credit cards, exchange bonus, a buyback guarantee and some free accessories.
